Our standard cabinet colour is Silver Grey. Please add a comment in the OPTIONS box if you want Red, Blue, Green or Dark Grey.
We include everything that is standard but not the variable items which are, the flexible plastic water pipe, insulation and hosepipe. These are available locally from plumbers merchants.
These are available locally from any good plumbers merchant and places like Screwfix.
We can supply these items if needed - just detail the distance between your sink connection and the cabinet (x 2 for H&C pipes), add it in the OPTIONS box below and we'll organise this with you.
- Included within the cabinet - Sink, plug and waste outlet for connection to hose, hand towel dispenser, plastic bag holder, H&C tap (comes with tails and push fit connections), 2 lengths of insulation.
- Included for Installation - Bolts and instructions to fit Cabinet to solid wall or floor. Fittings to connect flexible hoses under your sink.
It should be in a convenient place for users to access and placed against an outside wall.
There needs to be an internal sink within a reasonable distance that you can route 2 x 15mm pipes to the underneath of.
It must be possible to drill hole in the wall for 2 x 15mm pipes to pass through.
Preferably there will be a drain, a rainwater down pipe or a safe soak away point to run a hose without being a trip hazard.
If not, you will need the option of containers under the sink which can be moved by sack truck for emptying.
The job can be completed by a competent person but if you have any concerns call your plumbing contractor. Ri can take no responsibility for any damage arising from the installation of the cabinet.
If the sink you propose to connect to has no flexible tap connectors or the wall you need to route the pipe through is thick, we recommend using a plumber, he will have parts to adapt connectors.
You will need one or two holes drilled through to the inside of the building from the proposed siting of the cabinet. These should be large enough to accept 2 x 15mm pipes.
Under most sinks there is a silver flexible hose connecting the taps to a copper pipe. Firstly the water supply to these pipes needs to be isolated and the sink taps opened to ensure there is no flow.
The bottom conection from the flexible hose to the copper pipe then needs to be unfastened.
Next, re-attach inserting the Tee connector supplied between the flexible connector and copper pipe before tightening.
Push the tail of the water pipe (you have installed to the cabinet) firmly into the remaining TEE connection outlet.
Repeat for second water connection.
Making sure the on/off isolator levers on the TEEs are in the OFF position, turn on mains water isolator and test for leaks.
From the point that it leaves the building to the taps - definitely. As standard, we only supply insulation for the pipes within the cabinet.
We recommend the hot and cold water pipe is lagged from the sink to the wall it passes through, if it is ever at risk of freezing in the building.
Again - if in doubt consult your Plumber.
Where possible the bottom of the sink is connected to a 15mm outlet so you can attach a standard hosepipe and run it into a drain somewhere adjacent.
If you don't have a piece of ground to drain the waste water onto (without creating a hazard) and if there is no drain or down pipe soak-away to feed into then we can supply a manual collection option.
We can connect a number of 25 litre plastic containers under the sink, in the space otherwise used for extra storage.
Each has an off/on tap so when one is full, it can be removed for emptying. We supply a flat inner base so the containers can be easily slid, without lifting, onto sacktrucks.
The cabinet will accommodate up to 5 containers but we suggest three is optimum.
We recommend an annual inspection of the installation. Visually check all connections inside the building, the cabinet and all surfaces of the cabinet for faults.
We recommend that if the hand wash station is left unattended for any length of time the on /off isolator levers under the sink are turned to the OFF position.
